Social Content Editor (Reddit & LinkedIn Specialist)
This role is to write social-friendly articles, especially for LinkedIn and Reddit, for discoverability in LLMs.
The client needs someone who can write articles for Reddit and LinkedIn, not just social posts but full articles.
About the Role:
Our established financial services client is seeking a versatile, voice-driven Content Strategist to bridge the gap between institutional expertise and digital community engagement. This isn't just about "posting"-it's about translating complex financial insights into the authentic language of the internet.
You will be the architect of a new Subreddit community and the ghostwriter behind high-level LinkedIn thought leadership. The ideal candidate knows how to navigate a corporate approval process without losing the "soul" of the content.
Key Responsibilities:
Master the "Front Page": Build and execute a content calendar for a new branded Subreddit. You will "Redditize" existing long-form blog content into engaging, platform-native posts and craft original threads that spark genuine discussion.
Drive Thought Leadership: Partner with internal executives to ghostwrite LinkedIn Pulse articles. You'll turn proprietary research and raw data into compelling narratives that position our leaders as industry authorities.
SME Liaison: Act as a brand journalist by sourcing quotes and insights from internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will manage the relationship from the initial interview to the final sign-off.
Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with the Organic Social team to ensure all community content aligns with broader brand goals and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Reddit Fluency: You love Reddit. You understand the nuances of reddiquette, the danger of being "too corporate," and how to build community trust.
Executive Presence: Experience interviewing senior leaders and the ability to professionally manage the feedback/approval loop.
Versatile Voice: You can pivot from a data-heavy white paper to a witty, conversational Reddit thread without breaking a sweat.
Finance Savvy: Previous experience in the financial sector is a significant plus. You should be comfortable (or quick to learn) discussing market trends, personal finance, or fintech.
The "Team" Factor: We need a solutions-oriented collaborator who stays positive under deadlines and enjoys the "build" phase of a new project.
Why is this role interesting:
This is an opportunity to lead the entry of a major financial brand into the Reddit space. You'll have the backing of proprietary research and high-level SMEs, so you can create valuable content.
