Content Editor

  • Must have intermediate experience using Canva.(yellow bullets included in HCM post only)
  • Will need to submit a portfolio as part of the interview process.
• 100% remote role ok. • The pay rate of $23 an hour - Part Time 2- hours a week The temporary Advocacy & Education Social Media role will support social media initiatives tailored to the U.S. Education, Advocacy, and Operations division's objectives. Working closely with our US Communications team, this role will help execute strategic plans to elevate our online presence and engage with our audience effectively. Working with the Education, Advocacy, and Operations team, this role will create social media content for US Corporate channels to highlight strategic priorities. You will be responsible for:
  • Working directly with providers on content for Advocacy programming, this role along with the Education, Advocacy, and Education team will manage compliance needs responsibility for Promotional Review Committee (PRC) review and approval of all content.
  • Crafting compelling and relevant content tailored to diverse social media platforms.
  • Developing and managing a comprehensive content calendar to ensure cohesive messaging and work with North America Communications for approved scheduling on social.
  • Contributing to the creation of processes and best practices for social media stakeholders within the Education, Advocacy, and Operations division.
  • Taking charge of a social media-focused project from conceptualization to completion, with regular progress updates for the team to include regular updates to the North America Communications team to ensure advance scheduling for corporate channels.
  • Develop customized templates for all U.S. speakers and work with the operations team on additional content.
  • Additional responsibilities to include supporting North America Communications when needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Can be a student currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or an individual who already has the degree.
  • The following majors are preferred: Communications, PR, Social Media, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • Ability to commit to up 20 hours per week for 6 months minimum.
  • Industry knowledge or experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of how brands utilize social media to drive traffic and awareness.
  • Working knowledge of the latest social media platforms, consumer behaviors, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in copywriting, editing, and research skills.
  • Experience using the Microsoft suite of products.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, ethics, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work on a team and independently.
