Job description

We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Content Creator/Graphic Design Editor to join our team. As a Digital Content Creator/Graphic Design Editor, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering engaging content for our social media accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize and produce various content formats, including videos, images, infographics, and text captions. Working closely with the Social Media & Content Creator Specialist, you will contribute to the creation and execution of our daily and weekly content. Autonomy, extensive training, passion for music & social media trends (hip hop is a plus), and the ability to create original and captivating content are essential for success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ideate, write, edit, and publish high-quality digital content across a variety of platforms.
  • Manage workflow for daily and weekly projects.
  • Write SEO-friendly copy that adheres to style guidelines and meets the needs of the target audience; optimize existing content as needed.
  • Conduct research and interviews as needed to produce accurate and well-rounded content.
  • Take complex topics and distill them into easily digestible pieces for a general audience.
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with team members on new content ideas and strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on latest industry trends and best practices; share insights with team members.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to improve content strategy and execution.
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with outside content agency.
  • Monitor analytics to gauge content performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed
  • Daily Stand Up Agenda (Slack) and Weekly Calls
