• Conduct thorough initial assessments to gain insight into client concerns and devise appropriate treatment plans.
• Facilitate personalized one-on-one therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's individual needs.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care throughout the therapeutic process.
• Participate in regular professional development training to remain up-to-date with the latest best practices in mental health counseling.
• Contribute to program development initiatives, enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Deliver effective evidence-based therapy addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
• Stay informed of emerging research, trends, and best practices in mental health counseling to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

The clients you will work with represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and struggles, ranging from those facing anxiety and depression to those dealing with relationship issues and traumatic experiences. Your role will be pivotal in providing them with the support they need to navigate their mental health journeys and achieve lasting positive changes in their lives.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Two or more years of clinical experience working with individuals facing emotional challenges is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients swiftly, fostering a therapeutic alliance.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus, facilitating streamlined documentation and client management.
• Demonstrated effectiveness providing counseling services to diverse populations, including individuals, couples, and families.
• Commitment to cultural competence and delivering inclusive, affirming care to all clients.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for working within a multidisciplinary team.
• A willingness to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in alignment with best practices.

The competitive salary for this full-time position ranges between USD 90,000 to 100,000, reflecting your expertise and dedication to mental health. For those considering part-time opportunities, the starting salary begins at USD 52,000 per year.
