Business Analyst
Rothe is seeking a Business Analyst for the Collaboration and Productivity Services Office, within Workplace Collaboration Services in Office of the Chief Information Officer in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA's message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA's communication to the outside world. Job Description:
This role is responsible for managing end-to-end IT acquisitions and the full lifecycle of IT assets for ADS. The contractor ensures procurement compliance, maintains authoritative inventory records, oversees licensing activities, supports audits and reporting, and provides clear communication and customer support to ensure assets, licenses, and associated documentation remain accurate, traceable, and fully aligned with NASA requirements.
Functional Responsibilities:
  • Oversee complete ADS IT acquisition activities, including vendor quotes, PR packages, and required OCIO approvals.
  • Track acquisition actions from initial request through delivery and post-award confirmation.
  • Maintain authoritative acquisition and asset documentation within the ADS centralized repository.
  • Manage lifecycle tracking for all IT hardware, software, licenses, warranties, and maintenance agreements.
  • Administer license purchases, renewals, transfers, and reallocations in compliance with NASA SAM and supply-chain risk policies.
  • Develop and maintain standardized lifecycle procedures and compliant GFE and contractor-acquired property processes.
  • Ensure ITAM process documentation is updated and support agency-level audits and data calls with accurate, timely submissions.
  • Provide analysis to improve asset utilization, reduce costs, and enhance governance.
  • Manage funds collection processes related to ADS demand services.
  • Deliver clear customer support and communications regarding acquisitions, responsibilities, renewals, and lifecycle expectations.
  • Ensure all centralized repository data is complete, accurate, traceable, and available to the Government upon request.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement register by documenting proposed enhancements to services, service components, practices, communications, user experience, and any elements supporting effective product and service management.
  • Gather and analyze data from service line sources to support prioritization of proposed improvements.
  • Propose and execute minor process modifications and continuous improvement activities to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions, the employee bears travel costs to the nearest NASA Center for badging and the issuance of NASA IT equipment.
For a Remote or Hybrid position, the employee must have a reliable internet connection and be able to VPN into the NASA network to conduct work.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Education: BA/BS degree
Minimum Experience: Four years' experience working with geographically separated customers. Four years' experience with software collaboration tools in a SaaS environment including Box, Mural, Slack, O365, and others.
