Job Title: Application Portfolio Management (APM) Data Steward

Location: Remote


Job Description

We are looking for an experienced APM Data Steward to manage and maintain the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of application data within the enterprise Application Portfolio Management (APM) system. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality data, supporting governance standards, and enabling effective technology asset lifecycle and risk management.


Key Responsibilities

APM Data Management

  • Maintain and manage application records in the APM system ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Perform regular data reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise taxonomy and standards
  • Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records

Governance & Change Management

  • Review and validate requests for new applications, updates, and decommissioning
  • Ensure all changes are properly documented and aligned with governance processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to approve and implement updates

ServiceNow & Framework Alignment

  • Work within ServiceNow APM module to manage application data
  • Ensure compliance with CMDB and CSDM frameworks
  • Maintain proper data structure and relationships across systems

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with application owners, technology teams, and governance groups
  • Provide guidance on APM standards and data requirements
  • Support audit, risk, and compliance reviews

Reporting & Data Quality

  • Generate reports and dashboards to track data quality and exceptions
  • Monitor KPIs/KRIs related to APM data
  • Drive remediation efforts for data quality issues

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow (APM module)
  • Strong understanding of CMDB and CSDM frameworks
