• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs, tailoring sessions to individual circumstances.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients' specific goals, continuously adjusting strategies based on their progress.
• Provide dynamic therapy sessions including individual counseling, couples therapy, and group therapy, utilizing various therapeutic interventions like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Participate in regular professional development activities, including clinical supervision and case conferences, to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Your work will engage a wide array of clients facing different mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to assist individuals suffering from mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and addiction. • A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia, confirming your authority to practice.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques applicable to a diverse range of mental health challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish meaningful connections with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and client interaction.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques to effectively engage with clients in a virtual environment.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices in mental health treatment.
