Remote Computer Science Fresher information

How do Remote Computer Science Freshers typically collaborate with their teams despite working from different locations?

As a Remote Computer Science Fresher, you'll often use a variety of digital tools—such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom—to communicate with your colleagues and participate in team meetings. Project management platforms like Jira or Trello are commonly used to track tasks and progress. Regular check-ins, code reviews, and pair programming sessions help foster teamwork and provide learning opportunities. While remote work requires some adjustment, strong communication skills and proactive engagement will help you build relationships and contribute effectively to your team.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Computer Science Fresher, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Computer Science Fresher, you typically need a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, algorithms, and problem-solving, with a relevant degree or coursework in computer science. Familiarity with coding platforms (like GitHub), collaboration tools (such as Slack or Zoom), and basic knowledge of software development environments is often expected. Strong self-motivation, effective communication, and time management are crucial soft skills for remote work success. These skills and qualities are vital for delivering quality work, staying connected with remote teams, and adapting to the fast-evolving tech landscape.

What are Remote Computer Science Freshers?

Remote Computer Science Freshers are recent graduates or entry-level professionals who have a background in computer science and work remotely, often from home or another location outside a traditional office. They typically perform tasks such as software development, testing, debugging, or basic IT support under supervision. These roles allow freshers to gain industry experience while enjoying the flexibility that remote work offers. Companies hire remote computer science freshers to tap into a wider talent pool and reduce overhead costs. This arrangement is becoming increasingly popular due to advances in collaboration technologies and the global shift towards remote work.

What is the difference between Remote Computer Science Fresher vs Remote Software Developer?

Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead AI Engineer for a remote position with a Leading Risk Intelligence Firm. This is a direct hire opportunity requiring work during East Coast (EST) business hours.
Pay range: $145,000 - $150,000 annually

As a Lead AI Engineer on the AI Pipeline team, you will architect and build scalable AI systems that identify and alert customers to emerging risks in real time. This role is heavily focused on GenAI infrastructure, LLM-powered backend services, and distributed AI pipeline design rather than traditional analytics or reporting-focused data science.
You will lead the design and deployment of production-grade AI platforms that combine structured and unstructured data, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, and large language models to deliver reliable, secure, and high-impact intelligence solutions. You will also provide technical leadership across AI engineering initiatives, helping define system architecture, engineering standards, and long-term platform strategy in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
  • Architect and build scalable AI/LLM backend systems and data pipelines for risk detection and intelligence generation
  • Lead production deployment and lifecycle management of LLM applications across AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, and related AI platforms
  • Design resilient, observable, and cost-efficient GenAI systems, including orchestration, inference routing, caching, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks
  • Develop and maintain RAG pipelines, vector search infrastructure, prompt orchestration, and agent-based workflows
  • Drive system design decisions for distributed AI services, real-time processing, and high-throughput data pipelines
  • Perform hands-on engineering and coding across Python-based AI services and platform components
  • Establish best practices for AI engineering, MLOps, testing, deployment, monitoring, and model governance
  • Lead and mentor engineers and data scientists through technical guidance, code reviews, and architecture reviews
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions
  • Define technical roadmaps and platform strategy for GenAI and AI infrastructure initiatives
  • Integrate AI systems securely into enterprise workflows while ensuring reliability, privacy, and compliance
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tooling to continuously improve platform capabilities
  • Present technical concepts and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 8+ years of experience building production-grade machine learning, AI, or distributed backend systems
  • Strong experience designing scalable AI platforms and LLM-powered applications in production environments
  • Deep expertise with GenAI systems, including LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, evaluation frameworks, and inference optimization
  • Strong system design and software engineering background with experience building resilient distributed systems and APIs
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience handling large-scale and real-time data processing workloads
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating LLMs using AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, and cloud-native AI tooling
  • Strong understanding of MLOps and AI platform engineering, including CI/CD, observability, model monitoring, and infrastructure automation
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration and pipeline frameworks such as Airflow or similar technologies
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and architectural decision-making skills
  • Commitment to secure, ethical, and compliant AI development practices
Desired Skills
  • Experience building advanced NLP and text intelligence systems, including entity extraction, event detection, summarization, and multilingual processing
  • Expertise in vector databases, semantic search, information retrieval, and knowledge-enhanced AI systems
  • Familiarity with knowledge graphs, entity resolution, and relationship modeling for intelligence applications
  • Experience designing AI agent frameworks and multi-step orchestration systems
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and cost management for large-scale LLM deployments
  • Experience with streaming architectures, event-driven systems, and real-time AI processing pipelines
  • Proven leadership experience driving architecture and platform strategy in fast-paced engineering organizations
