Job Title: Financial Analyst (Accounting & FP&A)

Position Summary

We are seeking a versatile FP&A Financial Analyst to support both day-to-day accounting activities and financial planning and analysis functions. This role will split responsibilities between accounting support and forward-looking financial analysis, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, enjoys working with numbers and data, and can help translate financial information into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities.

FP&A / Financial Analysis Responsibilities (Approximately 60%)

  • Build andmaintainfinancial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Assistwith annual budget preparation and monthly forecast updates.
  • Perform variance analysis on actual results compared to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, margins, and other key performance indicators.
  • Support scenario planning, what-if analysis, and ad hoc modeling requests.
  • Partner with department leaders to gatherinputand provide insight into financial performance.

Accounting Responsibilities (Approximately 40%)

  • Assistwith monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, andsupportschedules.
  • Support the preparation ofaccurateandtimelyfinancial statements and internal reporting.
  • Analyze general ledger activity and investigate unusual balances or transactions.
  • Support audit requests andmaintainorganized accounting documentation.
  • Help improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, ora blendedaccounting/FP&A role preferred. Recent Accounting or Finance graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial model building.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to organize and analyze financial data witha high levelof accuracy.
  • Strong communicationskills and the ability to explain financial information clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
  • Experience with financial planning, reporting, or BI tools.
  • Experience in a growing or fast-paced business environment.
