Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Performing comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments to gauge client progress and adjust treatment approaches where needed.
• Collaborating with team members to develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring that follow-up steps are clear and achievable.
• Actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies that enhance overall client outcomes.
• Documenting treatment sessions and progress in compliance with organizational protocols and regulatory standards.

The focus of your work will primarily be on individuals experiencing substance abuse issues alongside mental health disorders. You will engage with clients from varied backgrounds, each with unique histories and needs. A commitment to culturally competent care is essential to cater to our diverse patient population in Bandon and surrounding areas.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• A current and valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.

Ideal candidates will have a background in providing therapy services in a community health or clinical setting, with a keen understanding of the therapeutic practices associated with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be advantageous.
