Job description

Position Overview

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at SpringPath Counseling, LLC, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional mental health services to individuals seeking support. This full-time, remote position grants you the flexibility to shape your schedule while providing vital therapeutic interventions that promote mental well-being and resilience.

About the Organization

SpringPath Counseling, LLC is dedicated to delivering quality services and personalized support designed to foster growth and independence for our clients, regardless of their unique challengesโ€”be they physical, intellectual, or behavioral. With over 40,000 dedicated team members, we serve an expansive network of approximately 50,000 individuals, continuously innovating to enhance the quality of care we provide. We pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer, committed to inclusivity and diversity, and we welcome applications from individuals with disabilities and veterans.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, accommodating a telehealth framework that allows patients to receive care in the comfort of their homes, thus overcoming barriers related to access and mobility. Our virtual setting fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where technology aids in delivering high-quality mental health services. You will have the tools and resources necessary to connect with clients effectively, utilizing video conferencing platforms and electronic health records to track progress and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical care, ensuring that patients receive proficient and compassionate treatment tailored to their psychological needs.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health issues, documenting assessment outcomes and developing conclusive treatment logs.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of patients while demonstrating advanced assessment skills to determine appropriate interventions and collaboratively develop resolution plans.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to counsel patients and their families during crisis situations, implementing therapeutic interventions to effectively handle immediate challenges.
  • Provide personalized counseling services through various formats, such as individual, family, or conjoint therapy, to address the unique requirements of your clients.
  • Evaluate patient and provider needs critically to craft comprehensive action plans that include follow-up assessments to monitor progress.
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and integrate findings into the overall care framework.
  • Document treatment strategies, client progress summaries, and modify care plans as necessary, all while providing educational resources to patients and their families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a varied patient population, including individuals experiencing chronic mental health disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges. You will apply your skills to create safe therapeutic environments that empower clients to work through issues to achieve meaningful life changes.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Applicants must hold a valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, preference will be given to candidates with experience in telehealth environments or those who have worked with specific mental health populations such as adolescents, veterans, or those facing socio-economic challenges. Proficiency in therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide:

  • An attractive sign-on bonus of up to $1,500.
  • Flexible scheduling options allowing you to decide your work hours between 5 to 40 hours per week.
  • Additional bonus opportunities up to $2,000 based on state licensure.
  • Comprehensive benefits including full medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous paid time off opportunities, promoting a healthy work-life balance, along with a cash-out option for unused leave.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
Career Growth Opportunities

SpringPath Counseling, LLC encourages continuous professional development through training and mentorship programs that promote career advancement. There are numerous pathways for growth within the organization, allowing you to explore specialized areas of mental health counseling or advance into supervisory and leadership roles.
