As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans to address the unique needs of clients.
• Providing pre-crisis and crisis intervention, including the formulation of behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.
• Completing all required documentation accurately and on time, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to assess client needs, collaborating closely with the clinical team to ensure optimal care.
• Participating in the development and implementation of positive behavior support strategies in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams.
• Engaging actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, providing a strong foundation for clinical practice.
• A completed full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting, ensuring practical, hands-on experience.
• Eligibility for licensure by the State of Washington, meeting all requirements to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, facilitating travel to community locations as required.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport with clients quickly.
• Strong listening abilities and a knack for empathizing while guiding clients toward constructive solutions.
• Impeccable attention to detail coupled with robust organizational skills, necessary for managing documentation and client information.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous experience in a community health setting or similar environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices specific to mental health treatment.
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, with the added incentive of a sign-on bonus. In addition to a competitive salary, you will benefit from:
