You'll engage with school facilities, adapting your therapeutic techniques to the unique challenges faced in educational settings. Our remote work structure encourages a supportive culture where you can effectively collaborate with your colleagues while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging in regular team meetings to discuss client cases, treatment plans, and effective strategies for interventions.
  • Developing and maintaining a strong rapport with clients, demonstrating trustworthiness and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Collaborating with school personnel to address and support the social-emotional needs of students, facilitating referrals to additional resources as necessary.
  • Actively participating in case reviews and contributing to the development of program improvements aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Aligning your interventions with the organization's ethical guidelines and code of conduct for the delivery of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents experiencing mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. You will tailor interventions to be culturally sensitive and responsive to diverse backgrounds while empowering clients and families with the skills necessary to navigate their difficulties. Your direct engagement will help facilitate their growth, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for the populations served, particularly related to risk assessment and crisis management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively connect with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Organizational skills that allow for efficient case management and documentation.
Preferred Experience

We encourage applicants with a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, particularly in educational settings or community mental health. Familiarity with electronic health record systems will be an asset as well, enabling you to effectively document client progress and treatment plans.
