This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule that meets both your needs and those of your clients. At Wellmore Counseling Center, we employ a collaborative virtual work culture, leveraging technology to connect with clients and team members efficiently. You will have access to secure, user-friendly telehealth platforms that facilitate therapy sessions, as well as the necessary resources for documentation and patient management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand client needs and develop appropriate treatment approaches.
  • Gather detailed patient history and client background information to inform therapy direction.
  • Provide effective individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique situations of your clients.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Document client progress accurately and timely, ensuring all records meet compliance standards.
  • Engage in regular consultations and case reviews with other mental health professionals to enhance client care and team collaboration.
  • Participate in community outreach programs that promote mental health awareness and resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellmore Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Our focus is on providing support in areas such as relationship counseling, psychoeducation, and conflict resolution. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate challenges related to family dynamics, communication difficulties, and emotional distress.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Certification in one or more treatment modalities, such as structural family therapy or cognitive-behavioral approaches, is preferred.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in providing therapy is essential; experience in a community health setting is highly valued.
  • Bilingual communication skills are considered an asset, enhancing our ability to serve a diverse client base.
Preferred Experience

While a year of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional background in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as narrative therapy or systems therapy, will find their skills especially valued. Experience working with varied family structures and cultural backgrounds will be advantageous in tailoring therapy approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, complemented by a generous sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching to secure your financial future.
  • Flexible scheduling options to promote work-life balance and accommodate personal needs.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) to ensure your well-being and time for personal commitments.
  • Opportunities for professional development through workshops, training sessions, and continuing education reimbursements.
