Bright Duchess Behavioral and Psychological Center is seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dedicated team of mental health professionals. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing directly to our community health clinic's mission. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while interacting closely with a supportive team. The community health clinic focuses on an outpatient model, targeting individuals and families needing mental health support. Our therapists enjoy a nurturing work culture that emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and flexibility to meet varying patient needs. While the standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be flexibility required to accommodate patients' availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments by utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies to identify unique patient needs.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among participants.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and treatment consistency for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, employing swift assessment and de-escalation strategies during emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of advancements in mental health therapies and participate in ongoing team meetings and consultations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals from different backgrounds and varying ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
  • Current and valid LPCC license in the state of California.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to the individual patient.
  • Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients and collaboration within the team.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, demonstrating a commitment to culturally competent care.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems and general computer applications.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in individual and group therapy, especially in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
