• Provide clinical services remotely, conducting assessments, individual therapy, group counseling, and family therapy to clients assigned to your care.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated care plans that address the specific needs and goals of clients.
• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and arrange for comprehensive assessments as necessary to determine treatment needs.
• Facilitate crisis intervention efforts and provide emergency support to clients as needed, demonstrating a calm and effective approach to high-stress situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.
• Regularly participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to the overall quality improvement initiatives of the organization.
• Monitor and track the progress of clients, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Identify potential safety concerns within the therapeutic environment and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.

This role centers around working with clients who face significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to major depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues. Our community health clinic focuses on serving individuals from diverse backgrounds, many of whom come from underprivileged socio-economic environments. As a Clinical Social Worker, your understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity will be paramount in building trust and rapport with clients, ensuring that they feel understood and supported in their journey toward recovery.

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and hold an active LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervised clinical experience providing therapy in a behavioral health setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, therapeutic modalities, and treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to foster a supportive environment for clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology and telehealth platforms to deliver services effectively in a virtual setting.

• Experience working in a community health clinic or with under-served populations is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating mental health disorders.
• Previous involvement in integrated care models and an understanding of case management principles.
