Intermountain Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Maintain a robust caseload of at least 27 client visits per week for full-time clinicians, ensuring timely and effective documentation of each session, including assessments and case notes.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest quality mental health services, adapting strategies to best meet the needs of our community.
  • Utilize creative therapeutic interventions to inspire clients to achieve and surpass their personal goals.
  • Engage in coordinated care efforts, working alongside case managers, family members, medical personnel, school staff, and other therapists to support clients holistically.
  • Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to team development.
  • Contribute positively to our team culture, encouraging an atmosphere of support, innovation, and growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include a diverse group of individuals, encompassing children and adolescents, as well as families facing a variety of challenges. As a therapist at Intermountain Counseling Services, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid LMFT license for the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in utilizing Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; familiarity with Valant is a plus.
  • Ability to model appropriate boundaries and professional conduct in therapeutic relationships.
  • A commitment to serving a diverse clientele with sensitivity and understanding.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with industry standards.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health setting or similar environment that aims to increase mental health accessibility.
  • Previous work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families facing socio-economic challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing engaging therapeutic interventions.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills, alongside a generous sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include flexible scheduling, paid holidays (including your birthday), and paid administrative time for documentation and consultation. Therapists will also have access to our Continuing Education Library to fulfill CEU requirements and expand their professional knowledge.
