Intermountain Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Maintain a robust caseload of at least 27 client visits per week for full-time clinicians, ensuring timely and effective documentation of each session, including assessments and case notes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest quality mental health services, adapting strategies to best meet the needs of our community.
• Utilize creative therapeutic interventions to inspire clients to achieve and surpass their personal goals.
• Engage in coordinated care efforts, working alongside case managers, family members, medical personnel, school staff, and other therapists to support clients holistically.
• Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to team development.
• Contribute positively to our team culture, encouraging an atmosphere of support, innovation, and growth.

Our clients include a diverse group of individuals, encompassing children and adolescents, as well as families facing a variety of challenges. As a therapist at Intermountain Counseling Services, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. • A master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LMFT license for the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
• Proficient in utilizing Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; familiarity with Valant is a plus.
• Ability to model appropriate boundaries and professional conduct in therapeutic relationships.
• A commitment to serving a diverse clientele with sensitivity and understanding.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with industry standards.

• Experience in a community health setting or similar environment that aims to increase mental health accessibility.
• Previous work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families facing socio-economic challenges.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing engaging therapeutic interventions.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills, alongside a generous sign-on bonus.
