Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Sales Manager based in Tennessee or the Carolinas. You'll lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets, drive market penetration, uphold company standards, and ensure team effectiveness through strategic leadership, talent development, and collaboration with cross-functional partners.

What you'll do as Sales Manager:

  • You will be based out of Tennessee or the Carolinas
  • Managing a remote sales team including setting, measuring, and tracking sales performance
  • Set individual revenue targets (quotas) and drive their attainment throughout the Area while ensuring profitable sales
  • Maintain market awareness and stay in touch with market trends including economic, environmental, and competitive forces influencing the market
  • Enforce standards, monitor pricing practices, execute objectives, and hold team accountable for performance
  • Ensure effective adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales process
  • Drive functional sales initiatives and campaigns throughout sector in partnership with Marketing.
  • Effectively utilize authority for sales personnel decisions (staffing levels, hiring, termination, promotion, salary administration, etc.) in consultation with Sector Leader and the VP of Sales
  • Ensure optimal team performance and capability by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, development, and corrective action
  • Execute specific plans developed to drive market penetration
  • Ensure that assigned sector attracts, develops, and retains the highest quality sales talent available in the marketplace
  • Compose monthly Communication Report.

You are:

  • 5+ years of direct business to business sales management experience
  • Knowledge of targeted territory and the Building services & construction, Manufacturing, & Utility Sector
  • Excellent coaching, closing and mentoring skills, strategist, and Analytical
  • bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience
