Position Overview:
The Social Media Brand & Content Manager will support our social-first company in connecting with new audiences and engage our existing base through compelling social media initiatives. We are seeking a self-starter with a 'founder mentality'. This role requires exceptional project management skills-ensuring all content moves from ideation to posting on schedule, without oversight. This role will help us expand our digital footprint and oversee our social communications efforts. The Social Media Brand & Creative Content Manager will develop content strategies and quarterly campaigns tailored to our collection of social media platforms to increase brand awareness, maximize engagement and influence conversion. This role will also be responsible for end-to-end content creation-planning, sourcing, production, and execution across our channels. The candidate will collaborate with regional teams to ensure national brand campaigns translate effectively at the local level, integrating market-specific trends and ambassador-led content into the broader digital strategy. This is a high-output role for someone who is constantly looking for the next story to tell and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. We are looking for a visionary who doesn't just follow trends but creates them.
Location: This is a remote position with occasional travel required. Candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or greater Seattle area preferred.
What You Will Do:
  • Refine and strategically evolve SkinSpirit's social media identity-primarily on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • The ideal candidate is a high-concept thinker who can pitch original, trend-forward campaigns, moving beyond standard industry templates to create 'must-watch' content that differentiates our brand
  • Monitor the pulse of social and platform guideline updates
  • Increase social media engagement and followers across platforms
  • This role will take an active lead in social listening and community management, fostering real-time dialogue with our audience to drive brand loyalty and identify emerging consumer trends
  • Manage social media content calendars, connecting with internal teams for alignment and planning purposes
  • Partner with creative team in the creation of written and visual content across platforms that is based on social media best practices and current trends-brief the team with platform-ready copy and visual direction or inspo
  • Responsible for translating complex clinical treatments and medical-grade skincare protocols into digestible, platform-specific content that maintains brand authority while remaining highly engaging
  • Consistently produce strong hooks and generate original ideas in monthly briefings
  • Build brand community through strategic and tactical actions including giveaways, influencer relationships, creator programs, ambassador program, collabs, and active community management
  • Support 61+ clinic teams through monthly office hours and social media onboarding training initiatives
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as link clicks, likes, and other metrics of social media marketing campaigns and use these insights to determine future activations
  • Monitor and analyze trends and competitor performance
  • Collaborate with internal partners across teams
  • Workflow Management: Responsible for auditing and optimizing our internal content production pipeline
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned

What You Will Bring
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 2+ years of proven expertise in social media marketing and social media platforms
  • Previous experience as an in-house or dedicated Social Media Manager at a national consumer brand is strongly preferred
  • Experience in beauty, medical aesthetics or similar industry strongly preferred
  • Strong social media content creation skills including but not limited to writing, design and video skills
  • Must be proficient in mobile-first video production (Short-form video/Reels/TikTok/Edits), with an eye for high-end visual storytelling that aligns with our premium brand aesthetic.
  • Understanding of video editing and content scheduling platforms
  • Ability to study and interpret marketing analytics
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail, with the ability to monitor multiple social media platforms concurrently and prioritize tasks e๏ฌ€ectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate e๏ฌ€ectively with cross-functional teams and external contractors
  • Adept at community building and keeping calm under high-pressure online interactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new technology platforms
