The Remote Sales Manager (M2) leads a fully remote tele-sales team and is accountable for delivering revenue targets, driving sales efficiency, and ensuring consistent execution of sales strategy. This role translates business objectives into disciplined daily operations, leveraging data-driven insights, structured coaching, and performance management to achieve and exceed sales goals while maintaining high levels of accountability and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Ownership & Sales Performance

  • Own and deliver team sales quotas and performance outcomes

  • Translate business goals into execution plans

  • Enforce performance standards across activity, conversion, and pipeline

  • Implement corrective actions to drive results

Remote Team Leadership & Execution

  • Lead a fully remote team with strong accountability expectations

  • Optimize workflows, schedules, and coverage

  • Maintain alignment using virtual tools

  • Foster a disciplined, results-oriented culture

Coaching, Talent Development & Performance Management

  • Deliver structured, data-driven coaching

  • Conduct performance reviews and development planning

  • Manage full performance lifecycle including corrective action

  • Execute sales strategies aligned to goals

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Critical Skills

  • 6+ years of professional experience in sales or inside sales environments

  • 1–2+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams

  • Experience leading tele-sales or inside sales teams in a performance-driven environment

  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding revenue targets

  • Experience with KPI scorecards, dashboards, CRM systems, and forecasting tools

  • Experience improving or scaling sales team performance through coaching and process optimization
