• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain an in-depth understanding of each client’s needs and histories.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions designed to facilitate client well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, adhering to professional standards and legal requirements.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide holistic care tailored to the unique challenges faced by each individual.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.
• Stay abreast of current mental health research and best practices to enhance clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with us, you will engage with a diverse client population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing multifaceted challenges. Our clinic aims to empower individuals who have experienced significant trauma, struggle with chronic anxiety, or deal with persistent depression by providing resources and therapeutic strategies that promote personal resilience and recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Connecticut is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a social work setting, preferably within mental health.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective client engagement.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to address complex client situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

While not mandatory, experience working with trauma-informed care practices and familiarity with community health resources are highly valued. Candidates possessing additional certifications or training in specific therapeutic techniques will be considered favorably.
