As a Mental Health Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at facilitating the mental health recovery of clients:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ unique mental health needs and collaboratively establish personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver individualized therapy sessions for clients across various age groups.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, attending regular meetings with psychiatrists and case managers, ensuring a holistic approach to client treatment.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention, offering support and guidance for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, thereby enhancing their sense of safety and stability.
• Take part in community outreach efforts, conducting workshops and educational programs that promote mental health awareness and destigmatize mental illness.

To ensure the best outcomes for our clients, we require candidates to meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, building rapport with clients to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Proficiency in working with diverse populations, incorporating cultural sensitivity into your practice.
• Ability to maintain meticulous and timely documentation, balancing clinical responsibilities with administrative tasks.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working in community mental health settings, providing exposure to a variety of mental health issues.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral protocols to better assist clients in accessing necessary support.
• Experience implementing therapeutic evidence-based models proven effective in diverse populations.
