This role allows for flexibility as our mental health counselors operate primarily in a remote setting while maintaining the benefits of teamwork and support through regular virtual meetings. Counselors have access to an outpatient office for client sessions when needed. • Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand client issues and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individualized therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring each approach is adjusted to meet the unique needs of the client.
• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support to clients experiencing distress, actively ensuring their safety and well-being during difficult times.
• Work alongside other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and foster a holistic support system for clients.
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in regular training to remain current with emerging best practices and methodologies in mental health counseling.
• Contribute to program development initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and community engagement.

You will primarily work with individuals facing emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships concerns. Our diverse client base requires cultural competence, ensuring that all patients feel validated and understood in their journeys. You will have the opportunity to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds, fostering inclusive and affirming care.

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting is preferred but not mandated.

• Demonstrated experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly and effectively with a range of clients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous.
• A commitment to cultural competence and the delivery of inclusive care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The salary for full-time counselors at Good Life Psychological Services ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a monthly healthcare stipend to support your well-being.
