As a remote employee in a community health clinic setting, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to provide integrated care for clients. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms.
• Develop customized treatment plans that align with clients’ individual goals, preferences, and personal challenges.
• Implement evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective symptom management and coping strategies.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices.
• Monitor client progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and effective integrated care tailored to clients’ needs.
• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic strategies and interventions.
• Ensure all client documentation is completed accurately and adheres to legal and ethical standards regarding confidentiality.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and professional development.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and work towards reducing stigmatization regarding mental health issues.

This role primarily serves clients dealing with a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Many of our clients may also represent vulnerable populations such as individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic abuse, or refugees. This diversity requires a compassionate, culturally competent approach to treatment that respects each client's unique experiences and perspectives.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude to support clients through their struggles.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities to effectively handle administrative tasks and maintain caseloads.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting working with mood disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Experience providing group therapy sessions or community mental health advocacy.

• A competitive salary range of USD 70,000 - 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
