Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are seeking a Communications Specialist to support change management and communication activities as VA transitions to a modern EHR. The specialist develops communication planning and stakeholder engagement products that ensure clinical and operational users understand workflow changes and system updates as VHA stabilizes and scales the Oracle Health Federal Electronic Health Record. The role spans information output, message development, and audience-specific materials supporting go-live readiness, post go-live recovery, and ongoing operations across a growing number of live sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop communication plans supporting EHR Go-Live, recovery, and PGL Operations across live and upcoming sites
  • Produce stakeholder engagement materials, messaging, and information products that explain workflow changes and system updates to end users
  • Support change-readiness assessments and translate findings into targeted communication interventions
  • Handle information output, internal communications, and audience-specific content for clinical and operational staff
  • Support super user and peer support network communications to strengthen cross-site collaboration and shared learning
  • Coordinate communication timing and content with training delivery and change management activities
  • Support end user optimization by communicating how feedback is collected, acted upon, and translated into system improvements
  • Maintain communication artifacts, distribution lists, and content repositories
  • Measure communication reach and effectiveness and refine approach based on results
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications plans for large organizational change initiatives
  • Experience producing stakeholder engagement materials and audience-specific messaging
  • Experience supporting communications in a healthcare, health IT, or federal setting
  • Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills at an executive level
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Low/NACI background investigation.

Preferred Qualification
  • Experience supporting electronic health record deployment or modernization communications
  • Corporate knowledge of large-scale communications in a health care setting
  • Experience with Veterans outreach and communication campaigns
  • Experience supporting VHA

The posted salary range is the company's good-faith estimate for this role. PFS benefits and compensation are determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, location; the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience; as well as contract and organizational requirements.
Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000
