• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs, followed by the development and implementation of customized treatment plans using telehealth platforms.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques for remote delivery to effectively engage clients.

• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical records through secure electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Collaborate consistently with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, through virtual consultations to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings using video conferencing technology to continuously improve care quality.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options, as well as available community resources, enabling informed decision-making.

• Stay abreast of current research and developments in mental health through virtual conferences and online learning, integrating new insights into your practice.

In this role, you will primarily serve patients in hospice care, which requires a unique approach to therapy that acknowledges the emotional complexities associated with end-of-life stages. Your focus will be on providing compassionate support and interventions that prioritize comfort, dignity, and the psychosocial needs of both patients and their families.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services, with preference given to those with hospice or palliative care experience.

• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions tailored for remote delivery.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for establishing rapport with clients through virtual platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling effective navigation of the challenges presented by remote work settings.

• A capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a virtual team environment.

• Experience in hospice or end-of-life care, particularly with a focus on mental health support for patients and families.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and initiatives, enhancing the quality and accessibility of care.

• Involvement in community outreach or health education programs related to mental health and hospice care.
