This role is fully remote, allowing for enhanced work-life balance while providing essential mental health services to clients in Washington State. You will engage with clients through secure telehealth platforms, utilizing the latest technologies to deliver effective mental health counseling.

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth to support client mental health and well-being.
• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate personalized treatment strategies.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans that focus on client goals and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitating crisis intervention and providing mental health support resources to clients as needed.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs will be essential in fostering positive client outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
• An active Washington State mental health license (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC) is required for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Proficiency in using digital therapy platforms and remote communication tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in a community health setting.
• Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A background in working with diverse populations and knowledge of culturally competent practices.
