Sunshine Sanctuary Mental Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and committed Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. • Monitor and assess client progress using diverse data-driven methods to ensure treatment effectiveness.
• Personalize therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs and preferences, adjusting techniques as necessary.
• Engage in independent work, applying clinical judgment to deliver high-quality mental health care.
• Provide crisis management support when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Demonstrate strong diagnostic and clinical skills to accurately assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using EMR while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Act as a supportive and non-judgmental provider, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with all clients.
• Utilize various forms of psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Psychodynamic therapy.

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, and grief. You will work with both adults and adolescents, providing individualized care that respects each client's unique circumstances and enhances their potential for recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
• Active and valid state licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with Washington state regulations.
• Proficiency in various psychotherapy modalities and familiarity with a wide spectrum of mental health diagnoses.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, remote work environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and coordinate care.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by third-party assessments.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote communication technology.
• Prior experience in a behavioral health setting, particularly in outpatient therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations effectively and compassionately.

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 - 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
