This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing therapists to conduct sessions from the comfort of their own homes or preferred environments. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns, followed by developing tailored treatment plans aligned with their goals.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness techniques.
• Set and adjust therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, regularly monitoring and discussing their progress towards these shared objectives.
• Offer flexible teletherapy options to accommodate clients who prefer virtual consultations or face accessibility barriers, ensuring equitable access to care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for every client interaction, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards in mental health practice.
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, trainings, and peer supervision, strengthening clinical skills and expanding knowledge of best practices in therapy.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of individuals, primarily focusing on students and families within the educational system. This client population may include those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavioral health challenges. By providing effective mental health support, the therapist will contribute to improved outcomes for clients navigating the complexities of daily life, particularly in a school setting.

• Current and valid licensure in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, employing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client experiences and mental health challenges.
• Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively while balancing administrative responsibilities.

• Experience in a school setting or working with youth and families on mental health concerns.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) to ensure smooth session delivery and documentation.
• Previous training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches, such as play therapy, EMDR, or behavioral interventions.
