This full-time role focuses on supporting individuals experiencing substance use disorders, empowering them on their recovery journey through expert therapy and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to establish individual needs and recovery goals for clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

  • Formulate tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring a client-centered approach.

  • Lead individual counseling sessions, effectively utilizing methods such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to foster engagement and progress in treatment.

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to provide peer support and therapeutic guidance for individuals involved in recovery.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and addiction specialists to integrate care and address complex client needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) within the state of Washington.

  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments for substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care models.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with diverse client populations.

  • Strong ethical standards, including the ability to maintain confidentiality and establish professional boundaries with clients.

  • Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote communication tools to document and facilitate care.

Preferred Experience
