We are currently looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI.

Job Overview

Haworth is seeking a Business Process Analyst to drive global efficiency through data driven insights and SAP ERP (MM/PP) solutions.  Supporting our Materials Management group, you will act as a strategic link between IT and business stakeholders, translating operational requirements into scalable system configurations and leading impactful projects. We are looking for a collaborative expert who thrives on continuous learning and is dedicated to our mission of creating world class, sustainable workspace environments. This position may be filled at the early‑career or mid‑level, depending on experience. Compensation and responsibilities will align with level.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine functionality use cases that align with strategic goals.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for development teams.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements that can be facilitated by technology solutions.
  • Configure, optimize and maintain SAP Materials Management(MM) and SAP Ariba modules.
  • Develop detailed functional design documents, outlining system functionality, data flows, and user interfaces to meet defined business requirements.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure proper implementation of functional designs and with testers to define test cases and ensure quality.
  • Provide support for ongoing user adoption and training.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and feature releases to propose innovative solutions to keep business at the forefront of the industry.
  • Contribute to IT project teams, providing business analysis expertise, and collaborating with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or relevant field of study
  • Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years of additional related experience OR 4 years of additional related experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a combination of IT system support, business process improvement, or enterprise applications.
    • Hands on experience with SAP ERP application, including system analysis, configuration, or functional support.
    • Direct experience within the materials management function, including procurement, commodity planning, or supply chain operations leveraging enterprise systems.
    • Demonstrated Expertise: Proven capability in requirements definition, functional design creation, system configuration, testing, or implementation
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI; this position does not offer remote or hybrid work and does not include relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
  • More than 5 years of experience in a combination of IT system support, business process improvement, or enterprise applications
  • ERP System Application Experience and certifications (focus on commodity planning and procurement modules highly desirable).
  • In depth experience or strong understanding of SAP (MM/PP)
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environment, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP Ariba, and integration capabilities.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management) certification.
  • ISM (Institute for Supply Management) certification.
  • Manufacturing Industry experience.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
