Corporate Partner

Location: Remote / Flexible
Compensation: Highly competitive; includes percentage of collections and potential equity participation (flexible)

A growing boutique law firm is seeking a Corporate Partner to join and help expand its transactional practice. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney to build and scale a practice within a flexible, collaborative platform.

The firm is particularly interested in candidates who bring an existing portable book of business and are looking for greater autonomy, upside, and long-term growth potential.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage M&A, venture capital, and general corporate transactions from inception through closing

  • Advise clients on business structuring, governance, and strategic matters

  • Maintain and grow an existing book of business, while expanding client relationships over time

  • Operate independently while collaborating with firm leadership on broader growth initiatives

  • Mentor junior attorneys (as applicable) and contribute to building out the corporate practice


Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission

  • 8+ years of corporate/transactional experience

  • Demonstrated experience handling M&A, financing transactions, and general corporate matters

  • Portable book of business required (ideally $500K+ in originations)

  • Strong client management and business development skills
