Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for clients entering the detox program, using structured tools and evidence-based practices to ascertain their mental health needs.
• Monitor therapeutic outcomes through regular follow-ups and data collection, collaborating with team members for comprehensive care delivery.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, outlining objectives and strategies that foster client engagement and recovery.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to tackle a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues.
• Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards to guarantee the health and safety of clients and staff within our detox center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with individuals in a detox center, many of whom are facing challenges with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the complexities of addiction, demonstrating empathy and understanding in recognizing the distinct backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in social work, with specific expertise in mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
• A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for managing a caseload effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for client engagement and collaboration with team members.
• A commitment to fostering a respectful and cooperative environment willing to work as part of a dynamic team.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment environment is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits
