Optimistics Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote setting. In the role of Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality behavioral health services to diverse client populations. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations and comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs.
• Monitor client progress and outcomes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
• Provide ongoing emotional support and educational resources to families, enhancing their ability to support their children’s mental health and development.
• Develop trusting relationships with clients, families, and team members to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Utilize effective coaching models and natural environment teaching methods to bring therapy into the child’s daily life.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely billing of services conducted.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Optimistics Counseling, LLC, you will serve a diverse clientele, including children and their families navigating a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will play a critical role in 's healing journey, helping them attain stability and improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Current Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, or in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills and self-motivation in managing documentation and billing tasks.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of professional experience is required, we prefer candidates who have worked within an outpatient behavioral health setting and possess a familiarity with telehealth platforms and methodologies. Experience in evidence-based practices for treating mental health, particularly in child and adolescent populations, will be considered a significant asset.
