• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Create individualized therapy strategies using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to various groups, families, couples, and individuals, focusing on both immediate and long-term mental health needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines by maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and current research to enhance clinical practice.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Talk Consult, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various mental health issues. Our clients typically include those who have limited access to traditional mental health services, and you will be instrumental in addressing needs related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your work will empower clients to achieve personal growth and emotional resilience.

• Holder of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Michigan.
• At least two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding and adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build rapport with a varying clientele.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team, ensuring integrated client support.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies.

• Specialized training or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse issues, or trauma-informed care.
• Prior experience working with underserved populations and a commitment to promoting equity in mental health.

• Annual salary between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with experience and workload.
