Arrowhead Family and Marriage Consulting LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. Located in Springfield, Illinois, Arrowhead Family and Marriage Consulting LLC is a thriving community health clinic that has expanded its services to include a broad range of medical disciplines, such as obstetrics, pediatrics, general medicine, family planning, and dentistry. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while working in a clinical setting that recognizes the importance of whole-person care. You will be part of a supportive network that values mental health equally alongside physical health, aligning closely with our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines. • Collaborate with primary care providers to identify, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues as part of the healthcare team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations to create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver brief, focused interventions for patients seeking mental health support, guiding them towards positive outcomes.
• Provide recommendations to the primary care team regarding patients' treatment goals and ensure appropriate referrals to specialty mental health facilities when necessary.
• Monitor patient progress and follow up to make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Develop relapse prevention strategies and support patients in achieving stable functioning in their daily lives.
• Document detailed patient progress and treatment plans within electronic health records to maintain continuity of care.
• Facilitate communication among healthcare providers to coordinate behavioral health services and promote integrated care.
• Empower patients by educating them on self-management skills, coping strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Provide insight and consultation to clinic management regarding behavioral health services and program evaluations.

Our patient population is diverse, including individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will focus on clients facing situational stress, chronic mental health conditions, and developmental issues. Given the broad spectrum of services offered at our clinic, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care that addresses their specific needs.

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Illinois.
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and relevant methodologies including family therapy, group therapy, and behavioral interventions.
• Understanding of DSM-IV diagnoses and treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Commitment to ethical practices as outlined in the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.
• Ability to handle the mental and physical demands of the position.

• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working in a community health setting or with a diverse patient population.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation best practices.
• Prior experience in integrated care models and ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals.
