Coastal Healing Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team of mental health professionals. This role will be carried out in a fully remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while remaining connected with our network of mental health professionals. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Monitor and document clients’ progress toward their therapeutic goals, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to match evolving needs.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance overall well-being.
• Engage in collaborative care efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to client health.
• Preserve confidential client records and maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and promote best practices within the clinic.
• Act as an advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met both within and outside of the therapeutic environment.

The clients served at Coastal Healing Center include individuals facing a variety of emotional difficulties, particularly those grappling with mood disorders. Our patient population is diverse, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. We strive to provide culturally competent care tailored to each individual's unique circumstances, emphasizing empowerment and recovery.

• Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• A strong sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and life challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and organize tasks to maintain productivity in a remote work setting.

• Prior work experience in a community health setting or with diverse populations dealing with mental health challenges.
• Experience using teletherapy platforms and technology to facilitate remote counseling sessions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in the treatment of mood disorders.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with education and experience.
