• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' mental and emotional health, along with their addiction background, to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that resonate with each client's unique journey towards recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards, ensuring client information is securely managed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families, equipping them with coping strategies and information about mental health treatment.
• Stay informed of the latest developments and research in mental health and addiction treatment to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The patient population is diverse, encompassing a variety of backgrounds and experiences. As a specialist in a detox setting, you will address the unique challenges associated with withdrawal symptoms, trauma histories, and the path to recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience working in mental health and/or substance use treatment settings.
• Proficiency in solution-focused and trauma-informed psychotherapy interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities necessary for effective problem-solving in clinical scenarios.
• A team-oriented mindset that thrives in collaborative environments.

• Prior experience in detox or rehabilitation settings, with a focus on managing withdrawal and relapse prevention.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and track client progress.
• Participation in continuous professional development training, particularly in the areas of addiction treatment and trauma care.
