Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and clinical Remote Audiologist to provide expert hearing healthcare services specializing in Earlens technology. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive remote assessments, provide clinical consultations, and manage the sophisticated fitting process for the Earlens system via a telemedicine format.
Key Responsibilities
  • Remote Diagnostics: Conduct and interpret hearing assessments using remote technology to determine patient candidacy for Earlens and traditional air conduction systems.
  • Clinical Counseling: Provide expert counseling to patients regarding their hearing loss and the unique clinical benefits of the Earlens and Virsono solutions.
  • Treatment & Fitting: Recommend, sell, and remotely program Earlens solutions and high-end air conduction systems, ensuring optimal physiological fit and sound quality.
  • Clinical Documentation: Maintain meticulous patient records and longitudinal data within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Operational Support: Coordinate with local and national clinical resources to support the patient journey and assist in scheduling complex remote procedures.
  • Patient Outcomes: Deliver exceptional clinical care and proactive troubleshooting to ensure high patient satisfaction and minimize device returns.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with ENT physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
  • Technical Evolution: Stay at the forefront of advancements in audiological research, Earlens technology updates, and telehealth best practices
  • Education: Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's Degree in Audiology.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as an Audiologist (AL license required; multi-state licensure a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
  • Telehealth Savvy: Proven experience with remote programming, telehealth platforms, and digital patient management.
  • Clinical Skills: Strong understanding of ear anatomy and the specific requirements for Earlens candidacy.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and explain complex technology in a virtual environment.
  • Compliance: Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
