The Employee Benefits Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of all health, welfare, retirement & corporate wellbeing benefits plans programs in a courteous, customer & cost driven manner. This position will ensure plans are operating in compliance with all federal requirements and within financial expectations.

What You Do.

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for day-to-day benefits administration and employee issue escalations, acting as a liaison between the HR Service Center, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of eligibility, claims, and administrative matters.
  • Support the planning and execution of Open Enrollment (OE), including maintaining and delivering employee-facing communications, web content, and support activities in collaboration with internal teams, the Sr. Benefits Analyst, and external partners.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits communication and education strategies, including annual communication plans, training materials, and vendor messaging to promote employee understanding and self-service capabilities.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including disability and leave administration, ensuring compliance (e.g., ERISA), effective plan setup, and providing guidance on claim escalations and processes.
  • Administer financial aspects of benefit programs, including processing and auditing vendor invoices, reconciling with payroll and accounting, monitoring the benefits budget, and resolving discrepancies (e.g., FSA outstanding checks).
  • Support compliance and reporting requirements, including ACA reporting, audits, documentation, and regulatory submissions, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and policies.
  • Collaborate with Finance and the Sr. Benefits Analyst to support retirement plan administration (e.g., 401(k) contributions, profit sharing, and true ups) and broader benefits program analysis.
  • Participate in benefits and wellbeing program evaluation, vendor/carrier selection, and ongoing program enhancements, including analyzing health risk data and recommending improvements.
  • Administer additional benefit programs such as tuition reimbursement and adoption assistance.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development to ensure compliance and effective program administration.
  • Partner cross-functionally (e.g., Talent, Communications, HR) to support benefit-related initiatives, including employee engagement, recruitment support, and compensation guidance.
  • Support special projects, audits, reporting needs, and other duties as assigned.

  • Position may require on occasion non-traditional hours and travel to company locations for meetings, orientations, and HR-related activities.

Your Education and Experience.
Bachelors degree with 3-5 years minimum Employee Benefits/Compensation and/or related Accounting or Analytics experience.
