BASIC FUNCTION

The Senior Associate - Business Development will play a critical role in driving Rehlko's end-to-end Business Development efforts. The Senior Associate will support the Manager and Director - Business Development in providing strategic direction to identify business opportunities that drive the organization to meet or exceed its growth and profitability objectives. They will support efforts to develop the posture Relhko will take in terms of product, experience, go-to-market, and operations. They will be responsible for supporting identification and qualification of acquisition targets, divestiture opportunities, and identification of key opportunities within governments for partnerships. This position will partner with the sustainability team to align and achieve Rehlko's sustainability efforts.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Financial and other data collection, analysis, modeling, stakeholder engagement, presentation development and delivery to internal and external parties

Core aptitudes include: Problem-solving and insight, practicality and effectiveness, communication and poise, stakeholder management, ability to work as part of a highly effective and dynamic team, and serving as a role model

Business intelligence - Collects, synthesizes, and shares sales and other data to create insights that position Rehlko competitively in the market through organic and inorganic growth. Connects economic, industry, competitive, customer, and consumer trends and presents findings to Business Development and Rehlko leadership.

Strategic projects - Supports efforts to drive strategy development projects with significant revenue and EBITDA enhancement, focusing on long-term strategic decision-making based on external trends and internal capabilities.

M&A - Supports Business Development team's work regarding merger and acquisition activity by performing target analysis and creating business cases.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Reports to the Director - Business Development

Organization Relationships:

Regular partnership with functional peers and leaders across all Rehlko businesses

External Business Relationships:

  • Frequent contact with distributors, consultants, existing and potential customers, and government bodies

  • Frequent contact with channel partners, professional organizations, government organizations, and other industry leaders

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, economics, business administration or other quantitatively intensive subjects. 1-3 years of directly applicable experience is preferred. Management consulting or investment banking experience preferred. Experience building and maintaining financial models preferred. Knowledge of power and/or industrial goods product and service offerings preferred.


The Salary range for this position is $79,500.00-$100,450.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
