Job description

Saturna Capital is a values-based asset manager specializing in mutual funds, ETFs, and separate accounts with a focus on sustainable and socially responsible investing. We partner with financial advisors and institutions to help investors pursue long-term, principled growth. The Advisor Relations role is responsible for generating sales of Saturna Capital–affiliated mutual funds, ETFs, and separate accounts to financial advisors, with a particular focus on RIAs in the Northeast region. This position builds new relationships, deepens existing ones, and drives asset growth by delivering exceptional service and technical product expertise.


Location: Remote position/ East Coast territory/ Travel required

Expected Starting salary range: $85,000 – 110,000 annual base wage

Full range (with tenure): $85,000 – 145,000 annual base wage


Primary duties include:

  • Manage an assigned territory and generate sales to meet established objectives.
  • Identify advisor prospects and establish new relationships across RIA, wirehouse, and independent broker-dealer channels.
  • Cultivate relationships and provide ongoing service to existing Saturna clients.
  • Determine key relationships within the territory and develop plans to increase client AUM.
  • Cross-sell Saturna services, including retirement plans and trust services
  • Present technical product knowledge in a clear, compelling, and innovative way to advisor audiences.
  • Data-mine and maintain accurate activity records and pipelines using HubSpot.
  • Adhere to company policies and industry rules and regulations related to securities and investment products.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • FINRA SIE Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses
  • Established relationships across Wirehouse, IBD, and RIA channels strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Saturna products and mutual funds
  • Strong MS Word and Excel Skills; familiarity with Apple computers preferred
  • Strong portfolio analytic skills and comfort with logic-based discussions.
  • Proven sales background, preferably in mutual funds, separate accounts, or other financial industry products.
  • Thorough understanding of values-based and sustainable investing strategies and products.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including some weekends (approximately 25–50%).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and personal values consistent with Saturna’s Core Values.
  • Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements such as a logic test, fingerprints, criminal background and credit check.
