To address this, it's important to be proactive about using digital tools like video calls, chat platforms, and shared documents. Another challenge can be managing work-life balance, since the boundaries between home and work can blur; setting a structured routine and a dedicated workspace can help. What Is a Remote Job?

A remote job is one for which you do not need to be present in an office or physical location on a daily basis. Telework can be done from home or anywhere with a Wi-Fi connection or other digital tools. Sometimes, a company allows workers to work from home a certain number of days per week, while other companies are 100% remote, which means that all work is decentralized. Working a remote job still requires you to perform the same duties as you would in a traditional job, but your responsibilities include being independent, managing your time wisely, and remaining on task without immediate oversight.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Consistent high performance and relevant certifications can also enhance earning potential.

What does it mean to have a remote job?

A remote job is a position that allows an employee to work from a location outside of a traditional office setting, such as from home or any place with internet access. Remote jobs use digital communication tools like email, video conferencing, and project management platforms to coordinate work and collaborate with colleagues. These roles can be full-time, part-time, or freelance, and are common in industries like technology, marketing, customer service, and writing. Remote work offers flexibility and can help achieve a better work-life balance, but also requires self-discipline and good time management skills.

Job description

About Remote People

At Remote People, we're building the infrastructure to power borderless teams. By handling global payroll, benefits, taxes, and compliance, our technology enables businesses to hire anyone anywhere compliantly at the push of a button.

If you're interested in adding to our vision of enabling people to work in dream jobs, for every company, and from anywhere in the world, apply now!

We're committed to building a global, diverse team representing different and varied backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, civil or family status, age, or disability. Being part of Remote People means being part of a growing, international family.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a highly motivated GTM Account Executive to own outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. Your mission is to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities in the HRtech space, targeting mid-market clients and setting the stage for revenue growth.

This role is 100% outbound-driven, perfect for someone who thrives on research, outreach, and creating the first spark of a client relationship. While closing experience is a plus, your main responsibility will be building a strong pipeline that fuels our sales growth.

Key responsibilities:
  • Identify and research target accounts in the HRTech and mid-market space.
  • Reach out to potential clients via email, LinkedIn, calls, and events to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Consistently create and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects to support revenue growth targets.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and assess fit for Horizons' EOR and payroll solutions.
  • Partner with Account Executives to hand over high-quality leads and ensure smooth pipeline progression.
  • Identify new market trends, customer pain points, and competitor activity.
  • Where appropriate, move opportunities forward and close deals, gaining exposure to the full sales cycle.
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or outbound prospecting (HRTech, payroll, or EOR experience a plus).
  • Proven success in outbound lead generation, booking meetings and building pipeline.
  • Strong communication skills: able to craft compelling outreach and engage decision-makers.
  • Highly organized, resilient, and goal-driven, with the ability to manage a large volume of outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft, etc.).
  • Ambitious self-starter who wants to grow into a closing AE role over time.
  • Fluency in English (C2 or equivalent). Spanish is a plus.
About YOU:

You're a doer. You take pride in being self-sufficient and productive. You're a conversationalist and a people person, and you thrive in the startup space. Speed, execution, and proactive problem solving come naturally to you. Lastly, you're inspired by what we do and why we do it.
