Utilizing telehealth technology, you will conduct virtual sessions with clients, adapting your therapeutic techniques to suit the digital environment. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluate clients’ mental health concerns to create personalized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Keep meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance client care and share insights for comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Educate clients about mental health, therapeutic options, and community resources, advocating for their needs and rights.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops to stay abreast of the latest practices in mental health treatment.

You will work with a varied clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, as well as families needing guidance and support. The population we serve reflects a wide range of cultural backgrounds and mental health conditions, necessitating a strong commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approaches.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess and diagnose a variety of mental health conditions.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a cohesive team environment.
• A strong commitment to ethical standards and professional development.

• Experience in a clinical telehealth setting is advantageous.
• Background in providing diverse therapeutic modalities to a wide range of clients.
• Prior experience advocating for mental health awareness within the community.
