You will have access to our outpatient office for necessary meetings and collaboration. As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you'll utilize teletherapy techniques and digital tools to connect with clients and provide effective mental health support.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health conditions, needs, and goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, to support clients in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions, treatment progress, and assessments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance client care through referrals and integrated support.
• Equip clients with coping strategies and tools necessary for managing their mental health challenges effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all client interactions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and peer consultations to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

In your capacity as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a diverse client population. You will encounter individuals with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive conditions, trauma-related issues, chronic stress, and substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a therapeutic alliance and offering tailored interventions that resonate with each client’s cultural background and personal experiences.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required to practice as a mental health counselor in Georgia.
• At least four years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven ability to deliver therapy in a culturally competent manner, respecting diverse values and beliefs.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to connect with a wide range of individuals.
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and other relevant technology for client management.

• Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to suit the specific needs of participants.
• Demonstrated success in developing treatment plans and effectively implementing therapeutic strategies with measurable outcomes.
