This role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Remote Claims Adjusters often handle claims related to property, auto, health, or other types of insurance, depending on their employer.

Vega is the premier AI-native claims TPA built to replace that entire stack. Our team is equal parts experienced insurance operators and modern technologists. We care deeply about delivering superior outcomes for our clients, and we want builders that get their hands dirty shipping solutions that move the needle.
Our results: 10x YoY revenue growth, and on track for $XXM run-rate in under 2 years. Backed by marquee VCs like General Catalyst and Valor.
The Role
Vega Claims is growing our team of independent and staff claims adjusters, and we're looking for a Talent Sourcer with hands-on experience recruiting within the insurance claims / adjusting industry. As a Sourcer, you will support our Talent team and recruitment efforts by using various channels to identify potential candidates, proactively opening conversations with passive candidates, and building pipelines of licensed line adjusters (property, auto, GL, and multi-line) across multiple sourcing platforms for our ongoing hiring needs.
This is a strategic, collaborative, and relationship-driven role: you'll partner with recruiters and work directly with hiring managers to understand different markets and set strategies for identifying great talent across a variety of roles. If you're a great networker, proactive by nature, and enjoy high-volume sourcing across a wide range of roles, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do
  • Source active and passive candidates for line adjuster roles (Property, Auto, General Liability, Total Loss) across job boards, Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, niche insurance/claims communities, Facebook adjuster groups, and other relevant platforms.
  • Build and continuously maintain a pipeline of qualified, licensed adjusters, tracking license states, certifications (e.g., Xactimate, Symbility), and availability for deployment.
  • Prequalify, interview and assess potential candidates to determine their qualifications at all levels of experience.
  • Support screening resumes as needed, and conduct initial outreach to assess licensing status, line-of-business experience, and deployment readiness.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in Ashby, including sourcing channel, license details, and pipeline stage.
  • Track sourcing metrics (pipeline volume, response rates, engagement rates, conversion rates).
  • Develop sourcing strategies and market insights to stay ahead of demand and position yourself as a go-to market expert on adjuster availability and licensing trends.
  • Stay current on adjuster licensing requirements by state and on industry sourcing channels specific to claims/insurance talent.
  • Collaborate with others on the Talent team on initiatives and/ or hiring needs that may spike in other areas.
  • Bring a creative, resourceful approach to sourcing, using referral networks, adjuster associations, and proactive outreach to build talent pipelines before the need becomes urgent.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline sourcing workflows, from candidate research to outreach, freeing up more time for high-value relationship building.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at hiring events, job fairs, and industry gatherings, representing Vega Claims and building relationships with prospective adjusters in person.

What You Bring
  • 2-3+ years of experience as a recruiter or sourcer preferably within the insurance claims/adjusting space (staffing agency, IA firm, carrier, or TPA background all welcome).
  • Proven experience sourcing across multiple platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, niche adjuster/claims job boards and groups).
  • Strong organizational skills - comfortable managing a high volume of candidates across multiple open roles.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication for candidate outreach.
  • Comfortable working independently in a hybrid/remote environment with a fast-moving pipeline.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Existing network or "little black book" of adjusters from prior sourcing/recruiting work.
    • Experience with Ashby ATS
    • Experience with, and comfortable working in, high-volume/volume hiring environments.

Benefits
  • Competitive Salary
  • Equity - giving you direct stake in the future of an AI-native industry leader.
  • Top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401k with company match.
  • Flexible PTO and a work from home stipend.
  • A fast-paced, high-talent density team that values transparency and shipping fast.
