Work Environment

As a remote member of our team, you will work from the comfort of your home while remaining connected with colleagues through virtual meetings, telehealth services, and digital communication platforms. Our workweek spans from Monday to Friday, with regular hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required to accommodate client needs and scheduling demands. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to ascertain patients' strengths, challenges, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect and integrate patients' cultural backgrounds.
• Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, thereby promoting emotional resilience and overall well-being.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to create a cohesive and effective treatment strategy for each client.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies to ensure the safety and stability of patients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress updates in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development sessions to enhance skills and share insights.
• Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and multicultural considerations in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as either an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist within the state of Virginia.
• A robust understanding of mental health disorders and a strong commitment to evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions, demonstrating inclusivity and cultural responsiveness.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.
• A commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining boundaries in therapeutic relationships.
• A proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team dynamic.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in both individual and group therapies.
• Experience working with multicultural populations and a demonstrated commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
