The Opportunity
Abilene Christian University Dallas is seeking a visionary Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the redesign of our online Art curriculum. At ACU, we believe that creativity is a reflection of the Creator. We are looking for an expert who can combine rigorous artistic scholarship with a profound ability to integrate Christian faith into the learning experience.
As an SME, you will collaborate with our Instructional Design team to transform foundational art concepts into a dynamic, spiritually enriched online journey for our students.
Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Redesign: Develop high-quality course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments that meet current industry and academic standards.
  • Faith Integration: Authentically weave Christian perspectives and biblical themes into the study of art, aesthetics, and practice.
  • Multimedia Collaboration: Work with instructional designers to select or create engaging digital resources, such as video demonstrations and interactive galleries.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all course materials align with ACU's mission and meet rigorous accreditation requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Academic Excellence: Master of Fine Arts (MFA), or Doctorate in Art History, or a closely related field.
