Job Description

At SGS, we are progressing through a major global ERP transformation program, and the Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting our ProcuretoPay (P2P) and related financial processes.

In the initial phase of this role, the primary focus will be on Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) 12.2, particularly in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our existing P2P and finance operations. As the rollout of our new ERP platform will span several years, this role is essential in ensuring that our legacy EBS environment continues to operate seamlessly. For this reason, handson experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 is critical, along with a strong understanding of endtoend procurement and financial workflows.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and translate requirements, ensuring alignment with SGS's global standards and compliance with local needs. The environment is highly projectdriven and requires strong analytical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements across countries, focusing on P2P, finance, and payment processes.
  • Translate needs into clear, structured functional documentation aligned with Oracle EBS 12.2 standards.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
  • Support supplier onboarding, contract changes, and sourcetocontract activities.
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Workstream Leads, and country teams to ensure alignment with the global ERP template.
  • Prioritize requirements, contribute to design documentation, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Assist in deployment, rollout, and post-golive support.
  • Ensure solutions meet global standards and local regulatory or compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in ERP project lifecycles, with handson experience in Oracle EBS 12.2 P2P or financial modules.
  • Strong knowledge of ProcuretoPay, including payment workflows, invoicing, and supplier management.
  • Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work across time zones and multicultural teams.
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills; able to explain complex functional concepts clearly.
  • Skilled in managing requirements throughout the full delivery and operational lifecycle.
  • Ability to assess business needs, document requirements, and align with technical teams.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion (P2P or Finance).
  • Experience in finance or business operations.
  • Familiarity with sourcetocontract, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Exposure to Agile, DevOps, or Lean methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese) are a plus.
Additional Information

Why SGS?

  • Join a globally recognized and stable company, a leader in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry.
  • Enjoy a flexible schedule and a remote work model.
  • Access continuous learning opportunities through SGS University and Campus.
  • Collaborate in a multinational environment with colleagues from various continents.
