Advantage Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team as a Child Development Specialist. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the developmental needs of children.
• Lead the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child’s unique circumstances.
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with team members, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
• Provide ongoing emotional and informational support to families, empowering them to be advocates for their child's development.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations governing social work practice, ensuring compliance in all service delivery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to engage with children and families, fostering positive relationships for effective learning outcomes.

You will primarily serve a diverse population of infants and toddlers experiencing various developmental challenges. This role requires sensitivity to different family dynamics and cultural backgrounds. Each child will present unique hurdles, ranging from physical disabilities to emotional or social difficulties. Your expertise will guide families through the complexities of early intervention services, ensuring that each child's development is supported in a holistic manner.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) recognized by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license to facilitate any potential home-based visits within the community.
• Strong ability to adapt to various learning styles based on the needs of each child’s treatment plan.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, fostering developmental growth through natural interactions and experiences.
• Experience in multidisciplinary team collaboration to devise and execute effective intervention strategies.
