Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Pro Health Psychotherapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations for couples and families, successfully identifying their unique challenges and dynamics.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, as well as conducting individual therapy sessions to focus on distinct needs and issues of each member.
  • Designing tailored therapeutic interventions to address concerns such as alcohol abuse, family conflicts, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.
  • Providing evidence-based treatment planning and evaluation to track progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed.
  • Engaging with diverse populations, utilizing culturally sensitive methods that respect and relate to each client’s background and experiences.
  • Documenting client interactions and treatment plans in our digital health record system to ensure the highest quality of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including adults, children, and adolescents dealing with a range of issues such as:

  • Substance abuse and addiction
  • Physical and psychological trauma
  • Family adjustment issues, including separation and divorce
  • Parent-child conflicts, especially mother/daughter dynamics
  • Difficulty in communication and relational dynamics among family members and blended families
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

  • Active and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
